Daddy can do it, yes he can! Daddy, Daddy, he's our MAN! My freezer went kaput on me and so Wilfred didn't hesitate to "jump in there!" Good news....My freezer works again!

Random Pictures......
Kissing cousins! Here is Lindsy with her cousin Alexander. They are sitting in one of the nichos of my Uncle's new home. (Those are my hands making sure they didn't fall out of there!)
A beautiful tree in town. However, 2 days ago we got a blistery cold snap here and a dusting of snow! I am now sad to report that there will be no apricots, peaches, or cherries this summer. The trees had all bloomed and then we got the snow! :(
Riding in Daddy's crane! I don't think he was excited do you?
Her first time licking the beaters! I made a Hubbard pie and some whipped cream. Both kids made sure that none of the whipped cream went to waste.

Sniff, Sniff...Can You Smell Them?...
These Kids are so spoiled they must be nearly rotten! Thursday night we (the kids and I) met Wilfred after work for supper at the Olive Garden. Since Clayton and Lindsy both ate all their food Clayton was allowed to get a dessert. Here are the Happy Chocolate faces:

After Olive Garden we went to the NEW Starbucks. Korina is working there and it was Family and Friends night which meant FREE coffee! As we stood outside drinking our coffee Clayton managed to persuade Korina to jump off the patio ledge with him. NO Korina wasn't slacking at work, her shift had just finished.

Friday Wilfred had off work. Since Lindsy has just hit a growth spurt and needed some jammies that fit, and Wilfred needed new boots we went to the mall. Lindsy also got some new shoes and a shiny black purse that she is all too proud of!

Clayton bargained himself a ride on one of those toys that every mother dreads and every kid begs for. The mall is pretty smart positioning those right in the middle of where you walk so there is no way you can avoid them!

Clayton helping Daddy shop for new boots. Clayton lucked out he also got new boots! They are the little John Deere boots for kids. I forgot to take a picture of them so I will try to remember and post a picture.
Saturday we stayed home and worked around the house. Wilfred helped a friend put his tractor engine back together, and I spent the day standing in front of kitchen stove and the kitchen sink. Clayton went to Walmart with Amma and came home with a Kids John Deere tractor!
Lindsy was the fist to wake up. She beelined it for her brothers tractor and had fun on it before he did.
Monday morning Clayton finally got to drive his tractor. The batteries had to charge for 18 hours. He rode it around the yard and even helped me take some feed to the chickens! Notice he is still wearing his jammies.
Giving sis a ride. She was soooooo mad that she didn't get to drive.
Hope you have enjoyed the pictures and I am sure you can now smell these spoiled and nearly rotten kids!
Sunday I cooked a lunch of Prime Rib, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, beer bread, and my sister brought a salad. I finished out the meal with homemade Coke Cake. Korina, my mom and dad, and my sis and her hubby all came for lunch. The minute Korina walked in the door she was mauled by kids and everyone else was chopped liver! (Clayton is wearing his boots.)

After lunch Clayton helped his Daddy put his new tractor together. Then it was nap time for everyone.

Can You Believe It???
We Have Snow!!!!!!
Wow! I feel like my eyes are deceiving me! When we got up this A.M. Wilfred headed to town for work and had bad roads all the way to the Canyon. Then beautiful blue skies with plenty of sunshine and no snow! Albuquerque didn't have a flake of snow. I was so excited to see that we have gotten a little more than 6 inches of snow that I had to take my camera out with me during my morning chores. Enjoy!
The chicken coop.
Russell sitting on what was the porch.
Little feathered friends!
I snapped this just as the bird decided to jump down. Click on the picture to see it bigger. His little feet just make me smile!

Scatamus looking in the back door.
Our little Aspen grove! Wilfred dug up and transplanted all of these from a friends property.
No swinging today!

What a CROC! These are my chicken coop boots and the ugliest boots I have ever owned. However, I know no one else is going to clomp around in them. So they are sure to always be where I've left them. The snow was above the tops of them this A.M.
So much for the chicken water not freezing!
No one wanted to go out side today.

This picture was taken a few nights ago. Lindsy insisted on helping Ed eat. She has started saying " Ed eat eat!"

Finally, More of the kids....
HELLO? Is anybody out there? The comments have been rather quiet on my blog. I know I haven't posted much of the kids lately but I can't help myself. When I find something that really helps my Husband, my Kids, and even me I feel an uncontrolling urge to tell everyone about it. So please bear with me!
So Warm! It was 60 degrees yesterday without any wind!! The kids and I spent most of the day outside. We watered all the trees and shrubs. We also set the chicken water up since it wouldn't freeze. I have gotten really tired of bucketing water to the birds. Today is just as warm but very windy. They are saying snow tomorrow night.....I can only hope!

The cat who has had many names, the current one being scatamus. He found himself a nice safe place where he could survey the whole yard without being pecked by the birds or licked by the dogs. He makes it look fairly cozy. This is wire left over from fencing the place last June when we moved in.

Climbing Luggage Mountian....
Last weekend Wilfred and I took a short trip to L.A. Yes, it was Wilfred'd first time to California, and our first trip ever with out kids! The kids enjoyed staying at Amma and Brampa's (this is what Clayton calls them so naturally this is what Lindsy says too.) When we got home on Monday, Lindsy thought is was sooo much fun to climb up the luggage, laugh, and jump off.

The Moon.....
Special Red Juice....
Clayton has a 'Special Red Juice' that he asks for. This is just about the only juice that I will allow the kids to have. Otherwise it is milk (rice milk for Lindsy) or water. I have found I really love to drink the juice too. Especially when my energy levels are low!
Clayton loves it!
Lindsy is also very fond of it! She will get into the pantry and get a pack that is unopened and bring it to me to open. If I won't open it she walks around sucking on the package as if it were open.
Here she is throwing away her empty pack of 'Special Red Juice'. What a good helper!
