Another Clayton-ism....
Tonight Wilfred finished the last of the drywall sanding on our remodel project. We have been living in several inches of drywall dust for the last 3 weeks. Clayton was on the potty tending to business when Wilfred came to tell me that he was finally done. Just being silly Wilfred and I started shouting things like: Yippee! Woo- Hoo! Clayton who could hear us from the bathroom yells, " WHAT HAPPENED MOM? DID YOUR WATER BREAK?"
My 4 year old made my night! The sound of disappointment when I told him no it had not yet broke. To know that my kids are just as ready and waiting for the baby to make his appearance, fills my heart with joy!
But, yes as you have more than likely guessed....I am OVERDUE! We are still waiting!!!! Also, my midwife has left for NH, where she will be for the next 3 years. On the upside, I met the one who is filling her place today. All of us love her just as much if not more than my last one.
I am guessing this is my latest lesson in patience......and not an easy one at that!
