This is our Turkey... Wilfred has been wanting to raise our own Turkey for Thanksgiving. We tried last Year and our Turkeys didn't even make it until June. This year it looks like we will be more successful. The bird is as heavy as Lindsy. We have several chickens and a rooster. We also have some ducks. I really enjoy all my birds. I mostly love the fresh eggs!

We've tried this too....the one year we had a turkey big enough, the neighbor insisted on buying us a turkey and sparing him! Then, a town dog came and ate him.
I have a rule that I can't eat an animal that we've named!

Just be careful, Wilfred might have to make a special rack for the oven. That is if ya'll have grasshoppers like he did growing up :) So fun to share in the events in ya'll parts. I will try to be better at posting more. Love Ya'll
