We have been missing a chicken and a few cats (kittens) One night a few weeks ago Wilfred and I awoke to the sound of our dogs frantically barking at 4 AM. I got up to check and found this swooping down to get our last remaining cat. Ed our mutt dog was standing between the owl and the cat. Russell our golden retriever mix was busy sounding the alarm. When the owl saw me it perched up on top our shed. I woke Wilfred up and he stood at the door while I ran out to take this picture and collect the poor cat that almost became a dinner. Needless to say the dogs and the cat slept the rest of the night in the garage.
