"The Bible calls debt a curse and children a blessing; but in our culture, we apply for a curse and reject blessings. Something is wrong with this picture." ~ Doug Phillips

Birthdays.....

Today is my Birthday. I have decided that age is a funny thing. When I was a kid I envisioned my life being so very different. I thought that 23 was the perfect age. I figured that I would be a millionaire and be traveling the world. Instead I am a stay at home mom of 2 very active kids. I very rarely can find a shirt that isn't stained, and I am beginning to wonder which delivery room I left my mind in.
However I must say all in all I am very Blessed. I have a Husband that doesn't grumble too much about having to go to work. I have 2 kids who love me very much. (Although Clayton did let me know that he doesn't like me when I am being mean.) I have a beautiful home and a car that runs. We always have food for me to cook and usually there are even leftovers. I must say I am not lacking for anything. (except for the million bucks and the world traveler status) Who knows maybe 23 will turn out to be the best year yet!

You crack me up!!! You at least have a good sense of humor!! Hey you know what you could do.....Write short stories and get them published. Your book could be called Which Delivery Room Took My Brain and you could write about all the expereinces you are going through the funny, the sad, and the ugly!! People could relate and they could laugh with you and cry too!

Happy Birthday!
I wonder the same thing, about where I left my brain. Interstingly enough, right after I had Brooklyn and thought I was the only one in the world that got dumber after having a kid, I heard on the radio that they actually did a study and when you are pregnant, your body pulls protein from your brain to help the developing baby, so technically, baby brain is a real thing. That made me feel a little better!

Happy Birthday!!
World travel?--you have two kids don't you. I bet they take you places you've never been. Many people would consider you rich because you are a stay-at-home mom and don't have to work. I'd say you have richness in you life that money can't buy!
Age is just a number so don't stop now; maybe by 32 or 62. But most of all we just need to be happy today ;)
