"The Bible calls debt a curse and children a blessing; but in our culture, we apply for a curse and reject blessings. Something is wrong with this picture." ~ Doug Phillips

Where have the days gone?....

Well, since the wind is relatively calm today I have sent the kids outside to play while I get a few moments of sanity. I tell you this wind is enough to drive a person nuts!!!
I don't know what happened to the rest of March, and now April is almost over as well! I am sure looking forward to better weather and gardening. However until then enjoy these pictures taken within the last month.
A breakfast picnic with some playtime at the park.

The Winner Is......

Lindsy picked our winner and that was comment # 1 from Mo. Send me an email to thepinklimosine@aol.com with your mailing information. Also let me know if you want a soap bar, cupcake, soap slice, or a jar of whipped soap. CONGRATULATIONS!

(I must admit that I am a bit sad that only 3 other people out there love soap as much as me!)

Sanctity of Life....

Something that is near and dear to my heart....the ability to choose life. Now I am going to avoid my soapbox here...but I would ask that you take some time and listen or watch this. Carol Everett is a woman who has been through abortion, helped sign others up for abortions, and had a change of heart and became a pro life advocate. Carol also tells how sex education in Public Schools is paid for by abortions. Just another reason why I choose to HOME SCHOOL my children. Please note that there are some difficult pictures at the beginning of this...just turn your head to the side. This message is IMPORTANT.

You are Welcome to your opinion, just as I am Welcome to mine.

Choose Life, Choose ADOPTION over ABORTION.

Soap Lovers.....

SOAP IS ART! Picture from My Natures Art Soap. http://mynaturesart.net

Who doesn't love a good smelling soap? If you just raised your hand or said "not me" YOUR WEIRD!

Thanks to Kimberly at My Nature's Art Soap, I am hooked! She graciously let me try some bar soap and some whipped soap. I love the smells and the bar soap feels like silk. Wilfred loves the whipped soap for shaving. I love this soap so much I am doing my first GIVEAWAY!
The above slice of soap is one of the few wonderful offerings Kimberly has at http://mynaturesart.net
To enter leave a comment telling me something about soap. On March 6th I will put all the comments in a hat and let my kids pick the winner. I will send the winner some awesome My Nature's Art Soap!
