"The Bible calls debt a curse and children a blessing; but in our culture, we apply for a curse and reject blessings. Something is wrong with this picture." ~ Doug Phillips

Idaho Trip PART 1....

Wow....what happened to summer? I have lots of pictures I could post but it would take me days. So I decided to just tell you all what we have been up to and only post the pictures from our latest adventure. Enjoy them and don't forget to comment!
We have been keeping busy...our well went dry, we lived water-less for a few weeks. We did finally manage to get hooked in to a water system. Lindsy got a Beagle puppy, named her Daisy. Kaleb turned 2! A week later Clayton turned 7! A trip to the zoo with Auntie Rae and Jeremiah. The start of schooling again. Lindsy is doing Kindergarten, Clayton is tackling 2nd grade. Wilfred has been working both in town and out of town. I became a Consultant for NORWEX Enviro Products. I love the company, the products, and the change it has made for me. I will post more on that later. Until then find out more at www.jeanettecronk.norwex.biz
That it is Summer in a nutshell...
Neither Wilfred or I drew out for our Elk hunts, so we decided to celebrate our 8th Anniversary and take a trip. We decided to go to Idaho and back via Wyoming. We loaded our 4 kids and 2 of the dogs, (Missy and Daisy) plus all our camping gear into the car. Drove all night and pulled into Green River, WY in time to eat lunch and stay the night with Grandma and Grandpa Wilson. (Wilfred's grandparents)

Grandma taking the kids to see the trains. Joel is 9 Months

Green River, WY

Old Bording station for the trains

Workshop for the trains

The Engineer in Yellow honked and waved to the kids, I think he was grinning as big as the kids were!

Grandpa Al

A rare Family Picture!

Five hours after leaving Green River, WY..........

This is how we Roll! Remember 2 adults, 4 kids, and 2 dogs packed in here!

A real Happy Camper!

Can you find 3 kids here?

Not a real morning person when there is FROST inside the tent!

Fishing....

Lindsy was the only one to catch a fish! It must be the pink pole!

Lots of hiking....had to watch for bears.

It happened to be time for the yearly Salmon Run. They turn red as the trek upstream to spawn. Amazing to watch!!! Also part of why the bears were so active.

Making homemade biscuits in camp, Kaleb was a great help!

I heard tell from Green River that you have well behaved, friendly children :-)

What an adorable little family!! I laughed at the three little ones all snug in the tent and then the "not such a morning person" pic, too! Don't we ALL look like that in the mornings??? hahaha!! The last one made me laugh out loud. SO CUTE that he's warming his little hands over the fire. THANKS for sharing the fun!! :)
